| Santa, he was frantic when his reindeer caught a cold! Christmas was in trouble or so the story's told. Then Santa saw Isabella and her Royal subject Millie, He got a great idea but his elves thought it was silly. "Look at how they jump!" he cried, "They're athletic as can be!" "I'll bet that they can pull my sleigh, c'mon, let's ask and see!" |

| So Santa he did call upon the Royal Jility Girls, They were so excited, they danced and jumped and twirled! "We'd love to pull your sleigh, Big Guy!" The two girls yelled with glee! But who would wear the big red nose? They'd have to wait and see. "I know, lets have a race!" one elf yelled to Santa and the rest. "That would surely tell us which girl can run the best!" "A race you say?" said Santa. "I think that could be fun." But one was just a cur dog, the Queen a flying nun! |
| The flag went down, they both took off and ran it head to head. "We're sisters and we won't compete!" So Santa finally said, "OK, that's fine but you decide which one will guide my sleigh." "The leader wears the big red nose to help light up the way." "You take it Millie," Isabella sighed, "I know you'll be the best." But would the little cur from off the streets be up to Santa's test? "OK!" Millie cried, "I'll do the job, I'll guide his sleigh tonight!" Then all the elves clapped their hands and danced in sheer delight. So Santa hooked the two up to his Christmas cart of joy And off they went, delivering toys to every girl and boy! THE END |
